The titan that became Oaken-Hearth was preserved mid-stride, its ribs becoming the keep's walls and its skull the high lord's private chambers. Torchlight through the amber-thick bones paints the court in golden hues. Underneath the fortress, the giant's preserved organs have become crypts where ancestors are sealed in glass sarcophagi — or so the faithful claim; some say the bodies are missing.
