The era of decline when the last titans died and their calcified corpses began forming the continent's geography, roughly 3,000 years ago.
According to legend and the fragmented records of the Order of the White Candle, the Age of Bones began with the Death-Dream — a cataclysm when the titan-gods simultaneously entered their eternal slumber. Over centuries, their massive bodies fossilized into the mountains, plains, and coastlines of modern Oakhaven. The first human settlers arrived toward the end of this period, discovering the miracle substance marrow seeping from titan remains. Cults and kingdoms rose and fell in the millennium since, but only the Ossian Empire has successfully unified the boneyard under one rule.
